THE CPCA. is a recognized registered religious non profit corporation within the State Of California and has the legal and religious authority to grant ordination to individuals that meet the criteria for ordination. Ordination allows members to perform wedding ceremonies, funerals within the State of California.
The CPCA. offers open membership to those already Licensed/Ordained. Those members receive the same benefts that our credential holders receive with some differences: 1. CPCA Credential Holders have Picture ID 2. CPCA Credentials are for Chaplaincy only. 3. Police and Fire Chaplains with the CPCA License/Ordination are awarded rank designation according to their Licensure level.
Yes. The CPCA offers limited scholarships to Chaplains in impoverished areas or those with verifiable lack of funding. Scholarships require a letter from your Pastor in verification of your finanical position. Scholarships are available for training and membership fees. We will be happy to help those who truly need assistance and all scholarships are full-membership at the level of Chaplaincy that you qualify for.
